SLSRC’s Meeting & Program, Friday, October 25th- Presenter, Jeff Young (KB3HF) on the Missouri Repeater Council

This month’s program on Friday, October 25th is on the Missouri Repeater Council by Jeff Young KB3HF. 

Jeff Young holds an Amateur Extra license and has been involved with the MRC for many years. Jeff has served as part of the leadership for the MRC also.

The purpose of the MRC is to provide frequency coordination services in the bands allocated to amateur repeaters, to serve as a forum for technical standardization in the Amateur Radio Service, to promote common events, and to help provide community service through the usage of Amateur Radio and amateur repeaters.

The MRC was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1984 to serve as the central clearinghouse for Amateur repeater coordination in the state of Missouri.

Our meeting will be  at 7:00 PM located at the Goldfarb School of Nursing, Rooms 419 & 420, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, 3005 North Ballas Road. It is centrally located at the intersection of I-270 and I-64/US-40. Take the Ballas Road exit from Highway I-64/US-40 or I-270 and travel south one block.
