We’re having another special meeting this month. This month we’re doing a kit build of an End Fed Half Wave (EFHW) wire antenna. In addition, we will also be holding our board nominations and elections for board of director positions, President, Secretary and Board Member at large. Please be sure to attend.
Pete Nowikow KFØOQA will lead us in building one in the meeting, and we will help as many as possible get started on building the challenging parts. If you have never built an antenna, this is one of the easier designs and includes a transformer that you wind yourself to match the antenna to your radio. We will talk a little bit about the theory of operation and build techniques.
This month, we will again meet at St. Luke’s https://slsrc.org/general-meeting-info/ As usual, we will have a short business meeting starting at 7 PM, then a presentation. It is easy to get to from either the North Medical Building handicap lot or the North / South Medical Building garage.

Park and proceed to the elevator. You will take this elevator to the “Lobby Level”. Follow Glass Breezeway to the lobby where you can either take stairs down on your right or continue to elevators on the left at the main entrance.
