This month, we will not be meeting at St Lukes nor on Friday night. The August meeting is a POTA activation at Babler State Park on Saturday August 29, 2026. Bring your HF Go-Box, portable antenna and practice going to a remote activation.
We will be meeting at the Edmund A. Babler statue on the right after you enter the park.

What to bring:
A chair
A portable HF rig (if you have one)
A portable HF antenna (if you have one)
Power for your rig (we will have limited power available)
The club will have a small generator, cooler of water, pop up tent and table and an antenna analyzer to help people get on the air. We will be logging on paper (club provided) The club will bring one radio and antenna to share for those who are not yet portable that want to help activate the park.

10-12 operate and socialize
12 soft end, keep operating if you want but the rest of us are packing up.

Rain plan: Go home, the only shelter that isn’t deep in the valley is currently closed.
